Verdict first: to actually sing, go to Luodong.
Yilan’s KTV map is lopsided. In the Luodong KTV list, 超級巨星自助式KTV 宜蘭羅東店 on Datong Rd holds over 3,700 reviews at 4.9 — no other venue in the county reaches that tier. 星聚匯自助式KTV, second floor on Zhongzheng N Rd, carries 1,100-plus at the same rating. Both are self-service, both within walking distance of Luodong Station.
好樂迪KTV 羅東店 on Gongzheng Rd is the lone chain representative here, at 4.1.
Why Luodong wins
Because it catches the night market.
Luodong’s stalls run from dusk to around midnight, with the famous ones best hit before ten. Where does the ten-thirty crowd go? A few minutes’ walk into a KTV. Yilan City lacks that density; in Jiaoxi the second half gets eaten by soaking and massage. Luodong is the only town in the county where eating flows straight into singing.
Yilan City: more choice, softer ratings
This district actually has more venues than Luodong. 超級巨星自助式KTV 蘭陽康樂店 on Kangle Rd, V-MAX KTV 宜蘭店 and 星勢力KTV on Zhongshan Rd Sec. 3, 好樂迪KTV宜蘭店 in the Jiucheng E Rd basement, plus 豪宴ktv and 好彩頭KTV on Hemu Rd.
Note that last address — Hemu Rd sits inside the Dongmen Night Market area. Eat a lap, then walk over.
Honestly, ratings here cluster between 4.1 and 4.6, well short of Luodong’s two leaders. The upside is choice and proximity to lodging: a last-minute weekend room is likelier to exist.
Jiaoxi: two rooms, and only if convenient
Jiaoxi offers 星勢力KTV礁溪星光店 on Zhongshan Rd Sec. 2 and 松竹梅自助式KTV in a Deyang Rd lane. A Jiaoxi night runs on soak, massage and late food in rotation — karaoke here is a fallback, not a plan.
The Yuanshan and Sanxing listings are villas
兵仔營KTV渡假民宿 on Guilin Rd and 藍與白 Villa/KTV麻將桌 on Gongzhao 8th Rd are guesthouses with karaoke rooms and mahjong tables. Rent the place, keep the night. Not the answer for a spontaneous two hours — and cabs are scarce out there after dark.
Three practical notes
Booking. Friday and Saturday, reserve the two Luodong self-service houses. The post-market surge is real.
Timing. Weekday afternoons and small hours are loosest and cheapest. Weekend prime still spikes, even in Yilan.
Getting out. Taxis come fast in Luodong and Yilan City; in Jiaoxi, walk to the main road. If there was drinking in the room, hand over the keys along with the microphone — a designated driver costs far less than the alternative. Still hungry? The late-night food map covers what is still open.
